Nr. 45 opens with a note combination that signals immediately this is something different. Black truffle — earthy, umami-rich, almost animalic — sits alongside the heady tropical sweetness of ylang ylang, the two creating an opening that is dense and intriguing in equal measure. Bergamot and bitter orange lift the accord with citrus clarity, preventing it from closing in, and introducing a brightness that makes the darkness beneath feel deliberate.
The heart is where Nr. 45 becomes truly singular. Black orchid is less a botanical note and more a mood — dark, velvety, and richly floral with an almost powdery depth.
