Nr. 32 opens with a soft, radiant brightness — orange blossom bringing its characteristic neroli-adjacent sweetness with a faint green soapiness, lemon sharpening the accord into something crisp and immediate. It is a light, optimistic opening that sets the tone without overcommitting.
The heart unfolds into a richly spiced aromatic accord. Lavender provides the classic fougère backbone, while cardamom and nutmeg layer in a warm, dry spice that builds gradually. Rosemary and coriander add herbal precision and a faint citrus-spice edge; geranium contributes its rosy, slightly metallic freshness to keep the spice from closing in. It is a complex heart that rewards attention — each note distinct, the whole greater than the sum.
The dry-down takes an unexpected turn. Litchi arrives with a soft, juicy sweetness that refreshes the base without reading fruity; tonka bean adds its familiar coumarin warmth; teak wood brings a rich, slightly smoky woodiness that is darker and denser than cedar or sandalwood. Vetiver grounds everything with earthy depth and longevity. Nr. 32 finishes warm, textured, and quietly distinctive.
